Salmon and Trout Fishing

With 78 km of river, the Scorff is one of the largest first-category rivers in Morbihan. It rises in the commune of Langoëlan, crosses the department through Guémené-sur-Scorff, Plouay, and Pont-Scorff, and flows into the Blavet at Lorient. It is renowned for salmon and brown trout fishing.

For fishing, recommended techniques are toc and minnow at the beginning of the season, then lure and fly fishing from May to September. Discretion is essential, as the fish are well-educated and sometimes tricky!
